Carter McLean, CPA
Shortly after graduating from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.S. in Accounting, Carter McLean earned his CPA license. He started his career working four years with a big four accounting firm in an audit role and two years with a life insurance company in an accounting policy role.
Over the last four years, Carter has served in a couple real estate asset management roles, gaining significant experience in property tax related matters while also being charged with driving strategic objectives for those companies, among other responsibilities. In early 2020, VMH Consulting was founded by Carter to provide niche property tax solutions that accelerate real estate investment and business objectives, whether they are mission-based or focused solely on cash flow and investor return objectives. Carter, a native of the Magic City currently resides in Birmingham with his wife and two children.
